Efficient Road crack and fretted joint repair

Speak to an expert >

We have a range of road crack and joint repair solutions that will help you improve the safety of your road and extend its surface life.

At Nolan Roadmarkings, we specialise in both hot and cold-applied crack sealing that will prevent deterioration across any road network. One of the things we always encourage is being proactive when monitoring road surface quality. If you leave a damaged surface for too long, it can pass the point of repair, which will, of course, result in a longer, more costly solution.

Our repair services can be executed across any network with minimal disruption and road closures. We will act swiftly, deploying our team of experts with the right solution that will resolve any surface defects, and enhance the longevity of your road.

Joint Screed

Overbanding is suitable for repairing cracks up to 5mm wide. We will clean and dry the cracked surface with compressed air, then screed and seal the materials in one pass, leaving a finished band width of up to 40mm.

This system is suitable for cracks and joints up to 40mm wide. Similarly, to overbanding, we will clean and dry the cracked surface with compressed air. This is then applied either as two processes: first fill, then overband, or as a single combined fill and overband process. This process is swift and efficient, with the aggregate taking less than 30 minutes to dry.

Suitable for cracks and joints generally greater than 40mm. Both types require the planing out of a recess where damage has occurred, then filling the recess flush with the surrounding substrate level and dressing it with a high PSV aggregate.
